Unarmed Private Security Basic Training
A 100 lesson-hour basic training programme organised under Law No. 5188 for candidates who wish to become unarmed private security officers for the first time. You can work as an unarmed security officer in many settings such as shopping centres, residential complexes, hospitals, schools and workplaces.
Who Can Attend?
- Be a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be a graduate of at least eight years of primary education (secondary school)
- Meet the criminal record requirements set out in Article 10 of Law No. 5188
- Have no health condition preventing duty (medical report required)
Course Content
- Private security law and personal rights
- Security measures, patrol and static post duties
- Person and crowd management
- Relations with general law enforcement and protection of the crime scene
- First aid and fire safety
- Effective communication and public relations
Examination and Certification
Candidates who complete the training sit the written examination held by the General Directorate of Security. Those who pass become entitled to an unarmed private security ID card.
