ID Card Application via e-Government (Renewal)
Please read this guide carefully to the end before starting the process.
Those who pass the exam can apply for the ID card once their certificate has been issued, using a phone or computer, via e-Government (e-Devlet) under the “Özel Güvenlik Kimlik Kartı Başvuruları” (Private Security ID Card Applications) section.
The ID card fee must be paid before applying.
ID card fee (550 TL for 2026):
- At the counter: The fee can be paid at a Türkiye Halk Bankası counter under the “ÖZEL GÜVENLİK KİMLİK KARTI TAHSİLATI” (Private Security ID Card Collection) payments.
- At an ATM (Halkbank ATMs only): Select the menus “GİRİŞ, FATURA VE ÖDEMELER, DİĞER ÖDEMELER, ÖZELGUV.KİMLK KART-POL.TES-” in that order (Login, Bills and Payments, Other Payments, then the private security ID card item), then enter your phone number and Turkish ID number (T.C. kimlik no) and continue.
Uploading Your Signature
The system will ask for a photo of your signature. Before starting the application:
- Sign on a sheet of paper with a black ballpoint pen.
- Take a photo of it with your mobile phone and keep it ready in your gallery.
- If there is a lot of empty space around the signature, crop it so that only the area containing the signature remains.
The background must be white and it must not exceed 100 kb.
If you get an error because of its size while uploading your signature, send us a photo of your signature via our WhatsApp line (0530 405 13 59). We will edit it so that the system accepts it and send it back to you.
Errors You May Encounter During the Application
The system may not be able to see your diploma or your fingerprints. If you get these errors or any other error and cannot complete the application, you need to apply to the police in person. To do so, collect your certificate from our course, make an appointment online, and apply in person to the private security branch located at the Şişli İlçe Emniyet Müdürlüğü (Şişli District Police Department).
