Armed Private Security Renewal Training
A private security ID card is valid for five years. In order to renew their ID card, armed private security officers must complete renewal training before that period expires. The programme consists of a total of 60 lesson hours, including firearms lessons.
Who Should Attend?
- Holders of an armed private security ID card whose card is about to expire
- Active security officers who wish to renew their card
Why Renew on Time?
Officers who do not complete the renewal training and pass the examination lose the validity of their ID card and may not serve armed. Planning the process before your card expires is important so that your duty is not interrupted.
