Private Security Course Fees and Official Charges

Basic training for newcomers to the sector
Basic training is for candidates who do not yet hold a private security ID card. It opens the way to sitting the official private security exam and applying for the ID card.
- Armed Private Security Basic Training: 120 lesson hours
- Unarmed Private Security Basic Training: 100 lesson hours
Under Article 10 of Law No. 5188 on Private Security Services, the general requirements are: being a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye; being at least 18 years old; for unarmed duty, having completed at least eight-year primary education or lower secondary school, and for armed duty, having graduated from at least high school or an equivalent school; having no physical or mental illness or disability that could prevent the performance of the duty; having no conviction for the offences listed in the law, and a positive result from the security investigation.

Training for card holders and serving personnel
The private security ID card is valid for 5 years. To renew the card before it expires, you need to complete renewal training. Officers who hold an unarmed card take the conversion training to move on to armed duties.

- Private security ID card fee: 550 TL
- Private security licence fee (ruhsat harcı): 8,568 TL
